Terms of service

EventFrame, operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”), lets event hosts collect photos and videos from guests via a QR code, display them on a live wall, moderate them, and download the originals. These terms are a contract between you (the host holding the account) and us. Guests who upload without an account are covered by the sections on guest content below.

You need an account to create events. Keep your credentials secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and provide accurate information.

• Events are paid per event, one time — no subscription. Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable VAT where required.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Storage and retention can be extended with top-ups at any time; top-ups are charged the same way as the original purchase.
• Refunds: [REFUND POLICY TO CONFIRM — e.g. full refund before the event's QR receives its first upload, pro-rata or none after].

One trial event per account: 3 days, limited storage, no card required. The trial event and everything uploaded to it are deleted when the trial ends.

Galleries are available for the retention window of the purchased plan. We remind hosts before a window ends; after it ends, the gallery and its media are deleted and cannot be recovered. Downloading the ZIP export before expiry is the host's responsibility.

• Uploads belong to the people who took them. By uploading, a guest grants us the license needed to store, process, and display the media to the event's audience — and grants the host the ability to download it. We claim no other rights.
• As host, you confirm you have the right to collect photos at your event and that your guests know uploads will be visible to the event's audience.
• Illegal content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual imagery, and content uploaded to harass are prohibited. Uploads pass automated screening and may be removed by hosts, their admins, or us. We may suspend events or accounts for violations.

Don't probe, overload, or disrupt the service; don't use it to store files that aren't event media; don't resell it without our written agreement.

We aim for the service to be available and fast during your event, but it is provided “as is” — we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid us for the affected event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

You can delete your account at any time (a grace period applies before final purge). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: support@eventframe.app.
